BPL Announces Groundbreaking Broadcast Partnership with Kayo

Fans across Australia can now watch the inaugural Brisbane Premier League (BPL) thanks to a broadcast partnership with Kayo.

Kayo, Australia’s premier sports streaming service, will stream six senior BPL matches plus the senior semi-finals and final live and free on Kayo Freebies.

Fans can access Kayo Freebies by simply downloading the Kayo Sports app or visiting kayosports.com.au/freebies and registering for a Freebies account. Kayo Freebies are free, and no credit card details are required to register and start streaming.

“We’re absolutely over the moon to partner with Kayo to broadcast the inaugural Brisbane Premier League. The BPL is a T20 showcase and to have a partner like Kayo on board allows us to show the world some of the incredible talent participating in the league,” says BPL Chair Stuart Giles.

Southern Rockets captain Leigh Drennan says the Kayo deal was a big win for the players participating.

“To have a broadcaster like Kayo involved in the inaugural BPL is outstanding for us players. It gives us a platform to showcase our skills to the world and who knows where those opportunities can lead. As players, we’re all super excited about kicking off this weekend; there has been a lot of hype about the BPL ever since the auction was held. Now it’s time for the action and I can’t wait!” says Drennan.

The Kayo partnership caps off a big 24 hours for the BPL with yesterday’s announcement of its major partner Mazda.
